There are weddings you photograph, and then there are weddings that stay with you. Travis and Trinity’s February wedding at Park 31 in Spring Branch is absolutely the latter.

I have to start with Trinity’s dress. I have photographed a lot of weddings. A lot. And I am not exaggerating even a little when I say it is one of the most breathtaking gowns I have ever seen walk down an aisle. She looked like an absolute vision. The kind of vision that makes you forget you’re supposed to be pressing a shutter button.
And then you notice that Travis is looking at her with these hazel eyes that match hers almost perfectly, and honestly I had to hold it together.

The whole wedding felt intentional in the best way. Trinity and Travis made the decision to push the ceremony later into the evening so they could have a fully candlelit, twilight celebration. Lanterns instead of bouquets. Fur wraps on the bridesmaids. The texture, the warmth, the glow of it all. It felt like walking into a scene from a dream, or honestly, a certain vampire movie I will not apologize for loving.

Park 31 is always a stunning backdrop but on this night it was something else entirely. There is something about winter light and candle flame that does things to photographs that golden hour can only aspire to. Every frame felt cinematic. Every shadow was doing its job.
And then the reception happened and all that moody elegance turned into an absolute party. The dance floor was completely unhinged in the best way possible. RMD Photo Booth showed up with every single toy they own including the 360 booth, and people were losing their minds over it. Everjoy Entertainment kept the energy exactly where it needed to be all night.

The bride and groom crowd surfed. Yes you read that right. Trinity in that dress, crowd surfing. That is the kind of joy you cannot manufacture and you absolutely cannot pose. That is just two people completely in love and completely present in the best night of their lives.
We sent them off into forever with a sparkler exit that felt like the perfect punctuation on a perfect evening.

This wedding also holds a little extra magic for me personally because Park 31 belongs to Mary, and Travis is her son. Watching a venue owner’s child get married in the space his mom built with so much love? That does not happen every day. The whole thing felt full circle in the most beautiful way.
To the entire vendor dream team who made this day what it was: Kendall Gale coordinated every detail flawlessly, Evember Floral brought the most stunning arrangements, Hill Country Bridal Stylists had Trinity glowing, Marble Dove Films captured every moment on video, and the list goes on. It takes a village to pull off a wedding this beautiful and this one had the best village.

Travis and Trinity, thank you for letting me be part of your day. Thank you for the hazel eyes and the lanterns and the fur and the crowd surfing. Thank you for reminding me exactly why I do this work.
